Printmaking
Linocut, or lino printing, is a playful and tactile printmaking technique that allows for reproduction. By carving into linoleum and printing by hand, drawings are transformed into bold, textured prints—each one slightly different, each one unique.
Session 1: From Idea to Image We’ll get familiar with the linocut process and materials, and begin shaping your ideas—sketching and planning your illustration. Session 2: Carving the Block You’ll transfer your design onto the linoleum and start cutting into the surface, exploring mark-making and technique along the way. we provide: all necessary materials, snacks and drinks, good atmosphere Session 3: Printing & Finishing In the final session, we’ll complete your carving and bring your work to life through printing, experimenting, and refining your results.
