About this class

Create your own sculptural jewellery from scratch with the wax carving techniques. Explore diverse ways to build up or carve down a piece of jewellery wax, and later on have it cast into precious metal. The price is including casting one piece in sterling silver. For 14k or 18k gold, extra cost is applicable.

What to expect

This class starts with designing your own piece of jewellery. Think a signet ring, a scultural pendant, or a pair of 3 dimensional earrings. You will learn to sketch your own design with correct dimensions. Afterwards, you will receive personal guidance on the best approach to create your piece in wax. You can either sculpt from a wax tube, a block, shape a soft wax sheet, or build up wax with a hot pen. In this four hour workshop, you will be working on your own personal project, while being inspired by other creative participants. After the wax models are finished, I will ship them to a professional caster to cast them into precious metal. The waiting time is around 2-4 weeks. Once the pieces are done, I will contact you for pick up or shipping.
