Come join us for a hands-on bookbinding workshop where you’ll create your very own A6 notebook using the Coptic stitch, one of the oldest bookbinding techniques. You’ll choose a beautiful decorative paper for the covers and learn how to assemble the book. The exposed stitching becomes part of the design, and the finished book opens wonderfully flat. No previous experience is needed!

What to expect

You’ll choose a beautiful decorative paper for the covers, then learn how to assemble the book from multiple signatures. The first and last signatures are sewn directly onto the covers — a slightly challenging step, but one that creates a beautifully distinctive result. The exposed stitching becomes part of the design, and the finished book opens wonderfully flat. No previous experience is needed. You’ll be guided step by step throughout the process, with plenty of time to enjoy the craft and make something truly your own. At the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a unique, handmade notebook — made entirely by you. ✨
